Blessings Abound!

There are times in our lives that we find ourselves surrounded by adversaries. And there are times we are surrounded by friends. I am finding that the most rewarding of times though, is when we are surrounded by potential adversaries that turn out to be friends. Wandering into a strange land, and meeting new people, you never really know what to expect. You may go into it with every intention of conveying joy and love and acceptance, but until you are there and the people respond, you never really know how you will be received.
I was blessed with such an adventure and received the greatest of rewards! People of KC, I thank you for your hospitality and acceptance. There are many more amongst you that I hope to meet in time and I hope that those that would be adversaries will instead be friends.

Blessed Be!

In Search of Survivors

Life brings challenge and adventure, crisis and opportunity. We face these occurrences daily without much regard to the direction each of our actions takes us down our road. We look forward to major events, expecting them to be the significant crossroads of our lives, yet with every moment we move along a path defined by the small, seemingly insignificant decisions of any given day. It is in this moment that we define who we are and what we are to become. THIS moment, that is ever present and never ending. I introduce myself to this forum by posting this invitation to all survivors: come forth and let us get acquainted, that we not be strangers when we are all that is left.
